Want to Tighten Up Your Skin? What to Know About ThermiTight

ThermiTight Westborough MAIf there’s one thing that males and females have in common it’s that no matter how hard we try, it’s hard to escape the inevitable signs of aging; especially on our skin. If you have noticed that your skin has lost a lot of elasticity— whether it be around your face or body— but you aren’t sure exactly how you can get the results you want then we may have the perfect solution for you.

Here at Keamy Cosmetic Centre, we specialize in a variety of different surgical and non-invasive treatments to help patients get the appearance that they want. One procedure that we offer to patients who are suffering from loose, excess skin is called ThermiTight. Let’s take a closer look at this procedure.

What Is ThermiTight?

ThermiTight is a skin tightening procedure that uses radiofrequency energy to target problem areas in the skin. By using precisely controlled levels of heat, ThermiTight works to actually shrink the tissue in the skin which helps with firmness, reverses laxity, and improves other signs of aging as well.

How Many Treatment Sessions Will I Need?

Depending on the area being targeted and how bad the laxity is, will determine just how many treatment sessions you will have to undergo to get the results that you want. Typically, however, patients start to see visible results after just one ThermiTight session and then results just get better over time. During your initial consultation, we will be able to give you a better idea of how many sessions you will need.

What Is the Procedure Like?

One of the many benefits of ThermiTight is that it’s painless and comfortable. At the beginning of the procedure, we will apply a local anesthetic to ensure that you’re as comfortable as possible. Then, we will insert a very small probe beneath the skin. Once the probe has been inserted, we will transmit radio frequency energy to the targeted tissue which targets only the problem areas and not the surrounding skin.
